This box does (or did) in fact , exist! We received it on 2 Jan
2004 after both my youngest (face full of thorn bush) and I (barked
shins on a lava flow and sprained ankle after falling down a short
(dry) waterfall!

Cnt remember where I sent it off to, but I've seen it mentioned from
time to time.

Hello as some of you may know Pam and I were in a car accident while
letterboxing last week and
I am trying to locate the Purple Heart PLB.Pam has already recieved
it but I have not and I would like to.If anyone knows the
whereabouts of this box or knows someone who recieved it in the past
6 months or so please contact me by email to help me track it

Hi Music Woman and Kreepy Kelli,

A brand new PLB box, called The BooBoo Box, is packed and ready to
go! This PLB replaces The Purple Heart PLB which has gone missing in
action. Jude of Team Freckles and I have just done the finishing
touches, so you will receive it soon. Since this is a brand new box,
BOTH of you should stamp into it and share your stories!
